you just soak a small bag of large white limas overnight in water, then rinse, cook in chicken broth a couple hours, then add peeled and sliced potatoes (about the same size as the limas) and cook until potatoes are tender about one hour. This also freezes very well. Great with buttermilk biscuits on the side.
