Today I am going to review Synovate Global Opinion Panels.  This site is one of the better survey sites out there.  They’re a huge marketing research firm, which has locations in over 51 countries, and have been around since 2003.
After you sign up you can fill out the profile section and take some surveys so that Synovate can get some additional information about you to match you up with their surveys.  When they have surveys available they will email you them, but you can also get to this via the My Surveys section.  After you complete the survey you will be given points which can be turned into cash(5000 points=$5). You also are entered into their monthly sweepstakes after each survey.  You can cash out your points once you’ve reached 5000 points, and they will mail you a check.
Synovates compensation may not be as good as pinecone, but they are a very reliable company to deal with, so I definitely recommend them.  Some other users of this site are Synovate members and they have recieved some products to test as well, such as Shampoo and Conditioner, bleach, stuffing mix, and body wash. Overall I would rate them around an 8/10.  If they paid a bit more for their surveys I would give them a higher score.  But you should be able to earn some cash, and also get some free products to try. Sign up and check them out.

This is going to be a simple post, since I really don’t know a whole lot about being an Audio Transcriber.  I do know that if you can type and spell well you can make a decent amount of money doing this.  Basically you will just be transcribing interviews and speeches and you get paid by doing each job.  There are a couple sites where you can get hired doing this.
These two sites are meant for people with really good typing and spelling skills.  The first is tigerfish.com, and the other one is productiontranscripts.com.  Both of these sites will be quite strict compared to contractedwork.com, but you have a better chance of making more money with them.  Since I don’t have experience with this work there isn’t much more I can say, but it might be worth a try if you’re interested.

Today I am writing about a survey company called NFO my survey. NFO My Survey is an online survey panel that was established in 1995. NFO (National Family Opinion) joined forces with TNS in 2003 to become the second largest market research firm in the world. Survey panel membership benefits to NFO include sweepstakes, reward points (redeemable for cash), daily giveaways and raffles.
You earn points for completing the surveys, and can cash out your points when you reach 1000. My Survey sends you screener surveys that pay between 10 to 30 points, and many of these lead to higher paying surveys that can pay as much as 1000 points. The screener surveys is their way of qualifying you for higher paying surveys. You usually get around 2-6 screener surveys. You can also earn points for referring people to their site, which pays 150 points ($1.50) for each qualifying member you refer. I would give NFO my Survey a 9/10. Click here to sign up.

Make Money Online as a Virtual Juror

Posted at 10:45 am Under "Other" | 15 Comments

There are a couple great sites online where you can earn some extra cash by being  in a Virtual Jury.  The first is onlineverdict.com.   Here is how onlineverdict.com works(according to their site).
First, Attorneys submit their case information and questions for the jury.  Then, as an eligible online juror you may be asked to review cases that are filed in your county or federal district. You will receive an email invitation from OnlineVerdict.com to review the case at your convenience, but once enough responses are received, the case will close and no additional participants are needed.  Your email invitation will provide a link to the OnlineVerdict.com website. After you log in you will be directed to the case and asked to agree to the confidentiality policy, review the case materials and answer all questions about that case.

There are no right or wrong answers. We are only looking for your honest reaction to the information that was presented to you. Your time commitment for each case will vary from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the details of the case, but you always have the option to choose which cases you want to review. The estimated time commitment for each case will be included in your email invitation.
After you complete a case you will be paid for your time. Payment amounts vary depending on the complexity and length of the case you review, but payments start at $20 per case and can go up to $60 per case. Checks are mailed once a month to the address you have on file in your OnlineVerdict.com account. The number of cases you may be asked to review will also vary depending on the number of attorneys in your area who are using this service.

The second site is ejury.com. Here is how ejury.com works(according to their site).
eJury provides an attorney the opportunity to “pre-try” the case before it goes to trial in front of an actual jury at the courthouse.  Cases at the courthouse are usually tried to juries of 12 people.  At eJury, each case is tried to a minimum of 50 people.  This provides the attorney with a tremendous amount of feedback which he/she will use to establish a settlement value, find strengths and weaknesses in the evidence, learn “public” attitudes, improve jury selection, discover the most effective arguments,….

The typical eJury case works like this:
Step 1:  The attorney prepares the Case Submission which consists of facts from the perspectives of each party, the jury questions which would be used at trial, and personal questions designed to obtain additional feedback.
Step 2:  eJury converts the attorney’s Case Submission into an “html format” and posts it to a secure location on our website where only eJurors in the county of selection can access the case.  The eJurors in that county are then notified by e-mail that a new case has been posted.
Step 3:  The eJurors return to our website, log in, and begin reviewing the facts and answering the questions, each clicking a “Submit Verdict” button upon completion.  Once the minimum number of verdicts have been rendered (usually 50), the case automatically concludes.  A case summary is posted later for those interested in seeing the results.

The pay on these sites varies anywhere from $5-$60. eJury Pay less than OnlineVerdict, but eJury usually has more cases available.  These usually take anywhere from 20-40 minutes to complete, and you will probably be able to make it shorter as you do more of them.  eJury requires that you enter your Drivers License number when you sign up, which makes some people hesitant to sign up, but both of these companies are legit and are safe to sign up for.  They are a great way to make some extra money each month, and are quite different than most online money making opportunities.

There are many sites online that you can make money from by doing offers and surveys, but CashCrate is one of the few reliable sites that I have a lot of faith in.  On CashCrate you can take up to 3 surveys a day, which pay $.80, and you can do as many offers as you want.  These offers have a wide range of payouts, from 20 cents to 20 dollars.  Some offers are as simple as filling out a form, and others require you to make a purchase or sign up for some type of free trial.  CashCrate makes it easy by letting you sort through offers that require or don’t require a credit card.  You can also do offers for points instead of cash, and you can redeem the points for gift cards and other types of merchandise.  I’d suggest doing the cash payout offers though, and just buy what you would like with that cash when they send you your payment.

Another easy way to make money from CashCrate is by getting referrals to sign up under you.  Depending on how many referrals you have you can earn as much as 25% of the amount that your referrals earn, and as much as 15% of what their referrals earn. CashCrate will also send you $3 every time one of your referrals reaches their first $10 of earnings.

CashCrate pays out around the 20th of every month, so if you earn $10 by January 31, you will receive a check for 10 dollars by February 25th or so(at the latest).  They are very reliable at paying out, unlike many of the other offer companies out there.  CashCrate is a great site to do in some spare time, since it doesn’t take long to do one or two offers or surveys.  By the end of the month you will have some extra money to use to go out to dinner, pay your cell phone bill, etc.  Click here to sign up for CashCrate.

Zoom Panel is an online survey company that does market research for many big companies such as McDonalds, General Mills, KFC, Procter and Gamble and Microsoft. ZoomPanel is one of the few reliable legit survey companies on the internet. Zoom Panel is free to sign up for and they will not sell your information to any other companies or send you spam email.

When you take surveys on Zoom Panel they reward you with points. You can use these points to get prizes or gift cards. You will start off with 50 points for signing up, and can quickly earn points for taking easy surveys. Each survey is worth between 25 to 150 points. You need 1000 points to redeem for a gift, although many of the lower gifts are simple things like chargers and small electronics. You can also earn points by referring friends. You can get 100 points per friend referred, with a limit of 400 points from referrals per month. This is a great way to earn points in addition to the surveys.

Zoom Panel will allow you to see new products and marketing before they reach the public, which can be a lot of fun. You won’t make much from this company, but it is definitely a great company to deal with and one of the better survey companies out there. You’re not required to fill out any of the surveys, so you can do this in your spare time and not have to worry about missing a deadline. I’d give this survey company a 3/5 rating, because I think the rewards could be higher. I would definitely suggest that you join Zoom Panel and give it a try.

Agloco = Dead

Posted at 9:15 pm Under "Uncategorized" | 1 Comment

Well a couple weeks after making my post about Agloco, I received an email from them.
“    We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations.  We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs.  As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations.  If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com
We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user.  We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.
AGLOCO Development Team”
Luckily agloco wasn’t something that required much work or time, but it is still quite disappointing.  Even their first venture during the tech boom, All Advantage, was able to launch and pay some of their members.  Perhaps a better management team could have made this work a little better.

Pinecone Research has opened up registration for everyone! This survey company is definitely the best company on the internet. They will send you surveys all the time and every time you complete one they will either paypal you, or send you a check for $3-5 dollars. They send the payments immediately, unlike most other companies.
Pinecone will send you “household question” surveys once and a while(do not earn you money), and they use this information to figure out which paying surveys will apply to you. They will ask you questions about the type of products that you use, if you have pets, kids, etc. These usually only take a few minutes to complete.

The product surveys will take a little longer, but those are the ones that will make you money. Sometimes after you complete a product survey Pinecone will tell you that they will be sending you a product to try. This is probably the most exciting part of these surveys, becuase you get to try products that aren’t even on the market yet. I have tried some things such as a frozen meal(shipped in a foam cooler with dry ice), candy bars, video games, and more. This testing will also earn you money, and you almost always get to keep the product!

I can’t think of anything bad to say about this company, and I think everyone should sign up. You aren’t required to take the surveys, but they are easy and fun to do if you have some spare time. They also don’t always have registration open, so if you sign up now you won’t have to worry about getting in at a later time when it might not be open.

edit-the registration link isnt working right now, but I will update this post when it is.

New Netwinner/Free Stuff Times game

Posted at 9:25 pm Under "Games" | 7 Comments

Free Stuff Times just teamed up with Netwinner to have a game developed specifically for this site. We have the Banko and Money Wheel games available, with the same cash prizes and gift cards that you can earn from the original netwinner.  Check it out! http://freestufftimes.freemoneywheel.com

Greenfield Online is one of the oldest online survey companies out there.  They have been around since 1994, and have always been a legit survey company online.  The internet is filled with survey sites that either don’t pay out, or aren’t worth spending time on, and this blog  will help you find out which company is good for you.
Greenfield can help you earn money in two ways.  When you take a survey it will enter you into a contest to earn a cash prize.  Most of their surveys are like this.  They also have surveys that will pay you for taking the survey, as long as you qualify.
Overall I would give greenfield a 3.5/5.0 rating.  The surveys are usually quick and easy, and they are a legit company, but the majority of the surveys will only give you contest entries.  Some people have reported slow payout, but they do send the payment eventually.
