This settlement involves Washington Nationals Baseball Club, which offered a ticket discount for fans aged 21 to 39 during the 2023 and 2024 baseball seasons. People who were 40 or older when they bought a single-game ticket to a Nationals home regular season game in that window, purchased directly from the team, may qualify because they were shut out of the discount based on their age. Eligible seats were limited to certain stadium sections. Known class members who want a ticket credit need not do anything, since it will be deposited into their MLB.com account, but anyone wanting a cash payment must submit a claim form by December 12, 2025. Unknown class members must file a valid claim form certifying their date of birth and purchase, and they have 90 days after final judgment to do so. The claim form asks you to choose either the ticket credit or cash. The defendant denies wrongdoing, and the court has already given final approval to the settlement.
