This settlement resolves a lawsuit over a targeted cyberattack on The Merchant of Tennis computer systems in February 2024, in which files containing personal details such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers and driver's license numbers may have been accessed. People who received a postcard from the company are Settlement Class Members and generally receive a cash payment automatically without filing anything. Former or current employees of a third-party trucking or delivery provider who worked for the company at or before the breach may also qualify, but they must submit a timely Claim Form to receive anything. Anyone can also submit a claim to dispute residency or to seek out-of-pocket losses and credit monitoring. Claims can be filed online or by mail, and the settlement administrator can send a paper form on request. The company denies wrongdoing and the court has not yet approved the deal. You can opt out or object before the earlier deadline in late 2026, and the claim deadline is January 27, 2027.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
