This settlement comes from a class action lawsuit, Carter v. Teleflora LLC, which claims that Teleflora sent text messages to cell phone numbers listed on the National Do Not Call Registry, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Teleflora denies breaking the law, but has agreed to settle. If you were sent such texts and belong to the class, you can submit a claim form to receive a payment of up to $251, which would be mailed to you by check. The court still has to decide whether to approve the settlement, and payments will only go out after any appeals are resolved. To claim, you need to file the claim form on the official settlement website by the November 17, 2026 deadline. You can also exclude yourself or object to the settlement by the deadlines listed on the site, and a fairness hearing will be held to review the deal.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
