This class action settlement covers people who bought electronic tickets to events in Nevada from SeatGeek's website or mobile app between November 7, 2020 and May 12, 2025, and were charged fees. The lawsuit claimed SeatGeek did not show the total cost including fees before tickets were selected for purchase, which allegedly violated Nevada's ticket reseller law and consumer protection law. SeatGeek denies wrongdoing, and the parties agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of continuing the case. Eligible buyers can receive a share of a settlement fund divided pro rata based on the total fees SeatGeek kept. To get paid you must submit a claim form, which can be done online, mailed, or requested by email from the settlement administrator. Submitting a claim is the only way to receive money. The claim deadline is January 5, 2027. Other deadlines include opting out or objecting by December 6, 2026, and a final approval hearing on January 12, 2027. Doing nothing means giving up your right to sue over these claims.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
