This settlement covers people and entities in the United States and its territories who paid rent directly to an owner, manager, or owner-operator for a multifamily residential lease at a property that used RealPage rent pricing software, such as its Lease Rent Options, YieldStar, or AI Revenue Management tools, at any point between October 18, 2018 and November 21, 2025. The lawsuit claimed that landlords and software providers conspired to inflate apartment rents. The settling landlord companies deny wrongdoing, and no court has ruled on the merits. A settlement fund of about 360 million dollars has been proposed, and the settling defendants also agreed to change how they do business. No payments are being made yet. Money will only be distributed if the court gives final approval, and that will happen later. You do not need to sign up or pay anyone to file. To be eligible for any payment, you must submit a claim online or by mail by the deadline. Opting out or objecting have earlier deadlines. Be sure to check the official site for updates.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
