File a claim

This class action settlement covers owners and occupants of U.S. homes or commercial buildings that have or had NIBCO PEX tubing, fittings, or clamps since January 1, 2005, and who have unreimbursed costs or damages from water leaks caused by those products. Contractors, builders, and insurers with claims tied to such leaks may also qualify. Some homes built by D.R. Horton in Alabama and Continental Homes in Texas are excluded. A settlement fund of up to $43.5 million will pay claims. Past leak damage and future leak damage are eligible for payments of 25% to 70% of proven property damage, and an optional re-plumb payment is available to people with three or more qualifying leaks. Claims can be filed online, by email, or by mail through the settlement administrator. Claimants should check the official website for the deadline that applies to their leak and for supplemental payment updates.
