This settlement resolves a lawsuit over a December 2024 cyberattack on Mortgage Investors Group, Inc. (MIG), in which certain files containing personal information such as names and financial details were accessed. MIG denies wrongdoing, but the parties agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of continuing the case. If you received a notice from MIG, or your private information was involved in the Data Incident, you may qualify as a Class Member. To receive any benefits, you must submit a valid and timely Claim Form, which can be filed online through the settlement website or downloaded and mailed to the Settlement Administrator. Paper copies can also be requested by phone or email. If you do nothing, you will not receive a payment and will give up your right to sue over the claims resolved. You may instead opt out or object by the October 20, 2026 deadlines. The Court still must approve the settlement at a Final Approval Hearing scheduled for November 10, 2026.
