A proposed class action settlement resolves claims over a September 2023 cyberattack on GeoTek, Inc.'s computer systems, in which files containing names, addresses, and Social Security Numbers were accessed. GeoTek denies wrongdoing, and the court has not decided the merits. You may qualify if you are a current or former GeoTek employee living in the United States whose information was affected by the incident. To receive any benefits, you must submit a valid and timely claim form. The fastest route is filing online using the LoginID and PIN printed on the postcard you received by mail. You can also download a paper form and mail it to the settlement administrator, or request one by phone or email. If you do nothing, you give up your right to sue over these claims. You may instead opt out or object by the November 1, 2026 deadline, while the claim deadline is December 1, 2026. The court still must approve the settlement at a hearing scheduled for December 11, 2026.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
