This settlement covers people whose private information was exposed in the October 2024 cyberattack on Finastra Technology's computer systems. Affected files may have included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and financial account numbers. Individuals identified in Finastra's records as entitled to benefits are Class Members, and some may have already received a notice directly from the company. Finastra denies wrongdoing, but the parties agreed to settle the Tina Parsley Hughes lawsuit in Broward County, Florida. To receive any cash payment or benefits, you must submit a valid and timely claim form, which can be filed online, mailed, or requested by email from the settlement administrator. If you do nothing, you stay in the settlement but receive nothing and give up your right to sue over the same claims. You may opt out or object by the November 13, 2026 deadline. The claim deadline is November 27, 2026. The court still has to decide whether to approve the deal at a final hearing on December 14, 2026.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
