The credit union has agreed to a settlement fund of about $1.78 million, and the company denies wrongdoing. Eligible claimants can seek reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses up to $7,500, or take an alternative cash payment of up to $150, which may be reduced pro rata. Claimants can also get reimbursement for up to four hours of time spent fixing problems caused by the incident at $35 per hour, plus three years of credit monitoring and identity restoration services. The credit union also agreed to cybersecurity improvements for five years. To claim, you must submit a valid claim form online or by mail before the deadline. Documentation is needed for out-of-pocket losses. Opting out or objecting are also options, with the same deadline. Questions can be directed to the settlement administrator by phone or mail.
