This settlement resolves a lawsuit over a targeted cyberattack on CPAP Medical Supplies and Services that occurred in December 2024. Files containing personal details such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, health insurance information, medical histories and financial information were accessed. People whose private information was compromised in that incident may qualify, and class members are those identified in the company's records as entitled to benefits. The company denies wrongdoing, but the parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continuing the case. Eligible people who want benefits or a cash payment must submit a valid and timely claim form, which can be filed online or downloaded and mailed to the settlement administrator. If you do nothing, you receive no payment and give up your right to sue over the same claims. The claim deadline is November 26, 2026, and the court has yet to give final approval at a hearing scheduled for December 1, 2026.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
