A class action lawsuit against Amazon claims that some of its return policies and practices violate Washington consumer protection and other laws. Amazon denies wrongdoing, and the court has not found it liable. The settlement is pending, and no payments will go out unless the court gives final approval. Members of Settlement Subclass A will be paid automatically and do not need to file anything. Members of Settlement Subclass B must submit a valid claim form to receive a payment. The claim, exclusion, and objection deadline is December 1, 2026, and the final approval hearing is set for March 16, 2027. Details about who belongs to each subclass are in the FAQs and the long form notice. The page does not describe the payment amounts or whether proof of purchase is needed, so check the settlement documents before filing. Claims can be made through the settlement website.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
