My great grandmother used to do snuff… she’d keep it in a little pocket of her lip, like some do with chewing tobacco. It was the reason I would never kiss her!

Hey, to the chica who had the pipe tobacco sample and dind’t know what to do with it, it is EXCELLENT for treating bee stings. I would NEVER put tobacco into my body, but when we would have bee stings as a kid, we would run next door to the old gentleman who smoked a pipe, and borrow a tiny piece of pipe tobacco. Tobacco has a drawing ability, and if you mix a little of it with a tiny bit of water, making a paste, and put it on the bee sting, it makes the hurt vanish, and also makes the little stinger come out and sit on the top of the swelling… and the swelling subsides faster too. Jsut so you know something else to do with nasty tobacco, an option that doesn’t cause cancer :eek3:

I didn’t know people still used snuff. I know it was still around in the 70’s. Well, who knew?? (I guess the folks who make it did)!!!
