ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Four (4) years of textbooks (up to $300 in textbooks per semester for up to eight (8) semesters); a $2,500 Chegg Scholarship awarded to the winning student’s school for the student’s tuition; and a $5,000 Bed Bath & Beyond® Gift Card (terms and conditions of gift card apply).
Scholarship Prize: The student benefiting from the scholarship must be currently enrolled in an accredited United States college or university, as listed on the United States Department of Education website (http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx) or currently enrolled in any high school with the intent to attend college or university by September 2014. Winner will be required to provide their student identification number at their enrolled college, university, or high school and proof of age. The Scholarship Award will be paid directly to the United States accredited college or university of the winning eligible participant in one lump sum. No scholarship monies will be paid directly to the winner. Sponsor and Chegg Inc. have sole discretion and final word over the timing and manner of any scholarship payments. Winner will be responsible for providing a letter of acceptance or enrollment from the college or university where the Scholarship Award will be directed. Funds may be applied to studies overseas provided that the study is a condition of the recipient’s degree plan and that payment continues to be made to the accredited United States college or university. In the event the Grand Prize winner is a U.S. resident, he/she may identify one (1) beneficiary of the textbooks and/or scholarship portion of the prize.
Cash Option: A cash option will be awarded in the form of a USD check for BOTH the Scholarship and Textbook portion of the Grand Prize in the event 1) the winner is not a student as of September 2012, 2) the winner is not a parent of a student as of September 2012, or 3) the winner is a Canadian resident. The Cash option is not available to residents of Georgia. If the winner is a resident of Georgia and is not a student as of September 2012 or a parent of a student as of September 2012, the prize will be awarded in the form of Bed Bath & Beyond ® Gift Cards (terms and conditions apply). In the event the benefiting student attends an unaccredited United States college or university, the Scholarship portion of the prize will be awarded as a cash option. Grand Prize Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $9,900 USD.
