This settlement covers individual U.S. residents who received written notice from Kisco Senior Living, LLC that their information was affected by a data incident that took place around June 1 to June 6, 2023. A $1,800,000 settlement fund will pay for credit monitoring, reimbursement of ordinary out-of-pocket losses, reimbursement of extraordinary losses and compensated time, residual cash payments, and certain California residents may receive a $250 statutory payment. Court-approved service awards and attorneys' fees and expenses will also come from the fund. To receive money you must submit a valid claim form, and the page indicates that claims need to be filed by January 19, 2027. If you do nothing, you will not receive payment but you will give up the right to sue over the released claims. You can also exclude yourself or object by December 18, 2026. Check the official site for the claim form and any documentation requirements before you file.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
