This court-approved settlement resolves wage claims tied to a payroll timekeeping outage. It covers non-exempt employees of an Ardent entity who worked between December 11, 2021 and February 17, 2022 and tracked time using Kronos Private Cloud, or would have if not for the Kronos Outage. Eligible workers can receive a share of the settlement fund based on the hours they worked during the outage. The payment comes as two checks: about a quarter is treated as wages with tax withholdings and reported on a W-2, and the rest is treated as liquidated damages without withholdings and reported on a 1099. To participate, you must sign and return the Consent to Join Form by the deadline, either online through the website or by mailing the paper form. You will need the ILYM ID printed on your notice along with your last name. Doing nothing means you keep your rights but give up any settlement money. The Court has not found Ardent liable, and questions should go to the settlement administrator rather than the court.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
