People who received a notice letter from TRC Staffing Services saying their personal information may have been exposed in a data breach between late March and mid-April 2024 can claim money from a $1.7 million settlement fund. The class covers United States residents who got that notice. Eligible people can request reimbursement of documented monetary losses up to $5,000 and or up to four hours of lost time at $20 per hour, or pick an alternative flat payment of up to $200. Claims must be filed online or by a postmarked paper form by December 22, 2026. Documentation is needed for the reimbursement option, while the alternative payment is a simpler route. Anyone who wants to leave the settlement must opt out by December 7, 2026, and objections are due the same day. The company denies wrongdoing, and the court still has to approve the deal at a hearing scheduled for January 6, 2027. Questions can go to the settlement administrator by phone.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
