This class action settlement covers owners and former owners of 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra trucks equipped with a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine that were bought from a GM-authorized dealer in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, or Texas between March 2010 and September 2024. Owners who paid out of pocket for CP4 fuel pump repairs could claim a cash payment, and people who sold their truck without a fuel pump repair claim could also receive money. The claim windows for these payments have closed, with the final claim deadline being November 6, 2025. A separate reimbursement program covered half of CP4 repair costs for work done after May 6, 2025, but it has also ended, with its last filing date on July 5, 2026. Payments have already been issued, and some claimants with deficient claims may receive an additional distribution if they supply missing documentation. Claimants generally needed documentation of their repairs or ownership. Questions can be directed to the settlement administrator by phone or email.
We're not a law firm; the official settlement site has the final word.
