My Grandmother was born there many years ago.
I just thought that it would be nice to visit
her home land. Also to meet you people and get to know more about your beautiful Country.
Also try some of your pubs.
    Thank you.

Took the kids to see the movie Brave and loved it! Loved the moral of the story. We spend a lot of time visiting great grandparents and trying to teach the kids the importance of family and the history they offer while working myself on respecting my kids choices for the future. Great way for the kids to learn about their heritage !

As I sat in the theater with my daughter the warm glow from the screen illuminating her small features, her 3-D glasses shinning in the dark, her little braids dangling by her delicate ears… the sweetest look came over her face. With her little warm hand she patted mine and said…”text me <3" our code for I LOVE U. Brave was a wonderful mother daughter- girl power movie. I thank u for our bonding moment. We have Scotch Irish blood in us and it was amazing to b able to share this with my daughter.

I was born in Scotland in 1953 was forced to emmigrate in 1966 to Canada a country I dearly love because both of my beautiful children were born there, but after seeing brave I cry over how much of my language and heritage I have lost. I would love to go back home after being away for so long.

I was in Scotland for 5 days last month,
my daughter got sick visiting and got to
go to the hospital, did not see any of
the places of that beautiful country, she was hospitalized there, and want to thank all the people in Gartnavel and Western
Hospital for being such nice poeple.
Wish one day will be back and thank them again and do some tourism.
