The one I liked on a car the other day….”At least the war on Mother Earth is going well” I have to agree. Lots of people in my office suite (office building is a 150+ year old loom factory turned into 100 office suites, super cool) drive those cars powered by used frying oil. I think they are very awesome, and have been learning alot more about them. I’m thinking about it, I mean less dependent on oil, more dependent on french fries…..it’s a win win! :kekeke:

Thanks for this! We teach the kids not to fight but I think the grownups need a reminder!!

@ AC: :) Hope you get one of those cars!! We all need to do whatever we can to be more responsible for our earth!! She is good to us and we as a group treat her very poorly. Again, we teach the kids to respect her and so many grownups have forgotten the word respect altogether!!

sleep in?! It is hard to with a toddler.. especially one who was using my Windex as hair spray. Needless to say, she just got a bath.
Oh yes, lets not forget about the pretty pink Sharpee on her arms & neck.

good mornin’ all…yes, i slept in…but was up from 3:30-5:00a.m. …when hubby gets up to get ready to leave for work…he works from 6a-6p…and doesn’t get home til around 7p…and I want to be able to spend some time with him…to let him know how much i love him and appreciate all the hard work that he is doing for us. He is tremendous to do all that he does and continues to do. I am extremely blessed.

i support our military and their families…all have sacrificed alot.
Being older and perhaps wiser…I have seen what these sacrifices have cost. Baby boomers have seen the effects from the vietnam war…which wasn’t even classified as a war for many years…just a military action…not only left so many dead, many more disabled…it has grated impacted society…but is overlooked…many men and women are still dealing with mental problems today as a result of what they saw …coping as best to keep their sanity and try to make sense of everything…many became suicidal, others have chronic depression, others with drug dependency, others with schizophrenia, others with post traumatic stress disorder, many remain homeless today…our VA psych units still house many from that generation…many lost their families due to their illness or the drug addictions acquired while away…and their families have suffered too…greatly. We are seeing a trend towards fatherless families…mothers working 2 or more jobs…children unattended…juvenille crime up…high school dropout rates up…I am for peace!

i do wish that some of the military spending be diverted to our public school system…and to feeding the hungry in america…making sure that all have affordable health care…and taking care of those here who suffered from natural disasters such as katrina imho

:dunno: I don’t know if the feminine gender would do a better job or not. I did respect the job that Madeline Albright did…using diplomacy. It really depends upon the individual person irregardless of gender.

Hello all and how about those giants lol. Well let me continue the whole thing by saying that I am currently serving as a cook and the only that could kill anyone is my cooking lol jk I haven’t received any complaints. I did sign up for this and I’ve been in for over 5 years now, the only reason why I did sign up was to better my family financially and word has it that I might be going over in Nov. Time will tell. Sorry about the story book here.
