Two “Grand Prizes”: Each winner of the Grand Prize, subject to verification, will receive Shell gasoline for up to a year ($2,600 value) awarded as thirteen $200 Shell Gift Cards, plus a check for $1,114 for taxes or use in winner’s sole discretion; ARV of Grand Prize: $3,714. The gift cards do not expire. The prize value is based on the purchase of approximately 10 to 12 gallons of gasoline each week. The actual cost and amount of gasoline purchased will be determined by the price at time of purchase. A year’s worth of regular grade Shell gasoline is calculated as the average consumer’s yearly gasoline consumption of 611 gallons (3.8 fuel purchases per month x 13.4 gallons of gasoline per purchase x 12 months) at an average cost of $4.19/gallon, consistent with the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s Average U.S. Gasoline Price released on March 7, 2022 (611 x $4.196 = $2,563.76). Fluctuation in gasoline prices after March 7, 2022, will not affect the calculation of the Grand Prize amount. Potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian if winner is a Minor) must claim this prize within forty-eight hours, and completed Prize Claim Documents must be received by Sponsor by the date shown in the instructions to claim the Prize. Once verified as a winner, the prize will be sent to the winner at the address provided in the Prize Claim Documents in approximately two to four weeks.
Five “First Prizes”: Each winner of the First Prize will, subject to verification, receive $1,000 in Shell gasoline awarded as four $250 Shell Gift Cards, plus a check for $428 for taxes or use in winner’s sole discretion; ARV of First Prize: $1,428. The gift cards do not expire. Potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian if winner is a Minor) must claim this prize within forty-eight hours, and completed Prize Claim Documents must be received by Sponsor by the date shown in the instructions to claim the Prize. Once verified as a winner, the prize will be sent to the winner at the address provided in the Prize Claim Documents in approximately two to four weeks.
Fifty “Second Prizes”: Each winner of the Second Prize will, subject to verification, receive a $100 Shell gift card, ARV: $100. The gift card does not expire. Potential winner (or their parent/legal guardian if winner is a Minor) must claim this prize within forty-eight hours or forfeit the prize. Once verified as a winner, the prize will be sent to the winner at the address provided during the prize claim process in approximately two to four weeks.
