PRIZES/ODDS. Fifty (50) winners will be drawn at random by Sponsor from among all eligible entries received, on or about April 19, 2010. Each winner will receive one (1) of the following prizes which will be randomly determined:
One (1) winner will receive a 4-day/3-night trip for (2) to a Montana National Park.
Winner may choose between a Winter or Summer Glacier National Park or Yellowstone National Park vacation package. Each package includes roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to an airport near selected Montana vacation package; three (3) nights’ accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy), $500 credit towards two (2) trip experiences per person, four (4) trip experiences in total (sightseeing, outdoor activity, cultural or learning), a park pass to chosen national park and the use of one (1) rental vehicle over the four (4) day time period of the trip.
Winner must complete the trip by September 30, 2011 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Trip must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to departure or prize will be forfeited. Trip is subject to blackout dates and availability. Travel must be round-trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,750. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations, distance between departure and destination and dates of travel. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
One (1) winner will receive a Moab vacation for two (2).
Prize includes five (5) nights’ lodging for two (2) at the Best Western Canyonlands Inn, one (1) night lodging for two (2) at the Cali Cochita Bed and Breakfast, a full-day raft trip and a 1/2 day 4×4 or jet boat ride into the Canyonlands National Park with Tag-A-Long Tours, a hot air balloon ride for two (2) over the beautiful mesas and canyons surrounding Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and a $40.00 dinner gift certificate from the Travel Council. Offer must be redeemed before September 31, 2010. The Moab Area Travel Council is not responsible for any loss, liability or damage arising from the prize winner’s acceptance or use of this offer. Blackout dates apply and gratuities are not included. All arrangements must be made through the Moab Travel Council. Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE WINNER ACCEPTS THE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS NATURE AND RISK IN RAFTING/BOATING/BALLOONING/HIKING, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH, ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THE PRIZE IS VOLUNTARY, ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE IS PHYSICALLY ABLE TO UNDERTAKE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PRIZE, ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THERE ARE NATURAL FACTORS AND OCCURRENCES WHICH MAY IMPACT ON OR AFFECT THE SAFETY OF THE ACTIVITIES HE/SHE IS PARTICIPATING IN AND HE/SHE ASSUMES THE RISK OF SUCH FACTORS AND OCCURRENCES AND AGREES THAT PROMOTIONAL PARTIES (DEFINED BELOW) SHALL NOT BE IN ANY WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RESULTING INJURY AND/OR DEATH. Prize does not include transportation from winner’s residence to/from Moab.
