PRIZES:
One (1) First Prize Winner, four (4) Second Prize Winners, ten (10) Phase I Finalists, and five (5) Phase II Finalists will be awarded (please allow 8-10 weeks after verification of eligibility for prize delivery) the following prizes in the amounts and to the person(s) indicated: First Prize: The First Prize Winner will receive a check in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars (US$5,000). Award check is subject to the issuing entity’s terms and conditions (e.g., term of the check’s validity).
Second Prizes: The Second Prize Winners will each receive a check in the amount of One Thousand Dollars (US$1,000). Award check is subject to the issuing entity’s terms and conditions (e.g., term of the check’s validity). Phase I Finalist Prizes: Each Phase I Finalist will receive two (2) VIP passes to the 2012 ESPN Summer X Games to be held in Los Angeles, CA, with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of US$2,000 per VIP pass. The prize includes paid travel arrangements to Los Angeles, CA and hotel accommodations as follows: round-trip airfare for Phase I Finalists and one (1) guest, coach class, between a major airport near Phase I Finalist’s residence and an airport in or near Los Angeles, in Sponsor’s sole discretion; hotel accommodations for two (2) consecutive nights at a hotel of Sponsor’s selection in or around Los Angeles, CA (one standard room/double occupancy); ground transportation from airport to hotel, hotel to 2012 ESPN Summer X Games, and 2012 ESPN Summer X Games/hotel to airport (US$125 round trip transportation per person, total US$250); and US$50 per diem per day per person (US$100 total per day for 3 days, total US$300). Costs for ground transportation and per diem will be in the form of a pre-paid card and is subject to the card issuer’s terms and conditions. Total ARV of Phase I Finalist Prizes: US$ 66,500 (US$6,650 per Phase I Finalist, based on Toronto or New York departure examples). Phase II Finalist Prizes: The Phase II Finalists will each receive paid travel arrangements to Santa Monica, CA and hotel accommodations as follows: round-trip airfare for Phase II Finalists and one (1) guest, coach class, between a major airport near Phase II Finalist’s residence and an airport in or near Santa Monica, in Sponsor’s sole discretion; hotel accommodations for two (2) consecutive nights at a hotel of Sponsor’s selection in or around Santa Monica, CA (one standard room/double occupancy); ground transportation from airport to hotel, hotel to Sponsor Headquarters, and Sponsor Headquarters/hotel to airport (US$125 round trip transportation per person, total US$250); and US$50 per diem per day per person (US$100 total per day for 3 days, total US$300).
