Week 1 Prize: One (1) “Make It to the Big Leagues” prize package is available to be won. Week 1 Prize package includes: Four (4) tickets to a Chicago Cubs game on Sunday August 26, 2012, an on the field photo opportunity and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before the game at Wrigley Field. Winner must attend game on date and times as specified by Sponsor. Guests must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 1 Prize is $1,136.
Week 2 Prize: One (1) “The Coolest Animals” prize package is available to be won. Week 2 Prize package includes: At the Lincoln Park Zoo, the winner and one (1) guest will go behind the scenes with a rhino and an opportunity to have lunch with a zoological manager; and at the Brookfield Zoo, the winner and three (3) guests will join Brookfield Zoo’s keepers by going behind the scenes at Habitat Africa and feed the giraffes, and a meal for the winner and three (3) guests at one of Brookfield Zoo’s restaurants. Guest must be at least 5 years old to accompany winner at Lincoln Park Zoo and guests must be at least 3 years old to accompany winner at Brookfield Zoo. Lincoln Park Zoo visit must occur no later than August 31, 2012. Brookfield Zoo visit must occur no later than September 15, 2012. Visit to each zoo is subject to availability and Sponsor approval. Each guest must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 2 Prize is $556.
Week 3 Prize: One (1) “The Smartest Day Ever” prize package is available to be won. Week 3 Prize package includes: A day at MSI for four (4) people (including tickets to Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition, a behind the scenes WOW tour, and Omnimax tickets); and a private VIP tour for four (4) people of and dinner for four (4) people in the Smart Home: Green + Wired Exhibit. MSI visit must occur no later than July 31, 2012 and is subject to availability and Sponsor approval. Each guest must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 3 Prize is $2,676.
Week 4 Prize: One (1) “Art Institute After Hours” prize package is available to be won. Week 4 Prize package includes: A private tour for the winner and three (3) guests of the museums summer exhibition, Roy Lichtenstein: A Retrospective, before regular museum hours; and lunch for the winner and three (3) guests at Terzo Piano the day of the tour. Valid weekdays only 8-10:30am. Week 4 Prize must be taken by September 3, 2012. Visit is subject to availability and Sponsor approval. Each guest must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 4 Prize is $272.
Week 5 Prize: One (1) “A Beluga Encounter” prize package is available to be won. Week 5 Prize package includes: Two (2) passes to the Shedd Aquarium and a Beluga encounter for the winner and one (1) guest. Visit must occur within one (1) year from the date the prize is awarded. Visit must be scheduled in advance, is subject to availability and session schedule. Guest must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. Winner and guest must be at least 60 inches tall and guest must be at least 10 years old. The approximate retail value of the Week 5 Prize is $569.90.
Week 6 Prize: One (1) “The Music of Discovery” prize package is available to be won. Week 6 Prize package includes: Two (2) tickets to the Rockford Symphony Orchestra’s opening night on September 22, 2012 at 7:30pm and dinner at Abreo restaurant preceding the concert. Transportation will be included to and from the winner’s home to Rockford Symphony Orchestra opening night on 9/22/12; and four (4) passes to On the Waterfront and Discover Center. Guests must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 6 Prize is $814.
Week 7 Prize: One (1) “A Theater Extravaganza” prize package is available to be won. Week 7 Prize package includes: Two (2) tickets to the opening of Mary Zimmerman’s “Metamorphoses” at the Lookingglass Theatre on September 30, 2012, and an opportunity to hang out with the cast and crew at the post-play party; two (2) tickets to Goodman Theatre’s 2012/2012 “SOMETHING WILD” Season Opening Benefit and performance of “Sweet Bird of Youth” on September 24, 2012 and an invitation to the post-performance cast party; two (2) tickets to the Steppenwolf’s 2012/2013 season opening performance of “Good People” on September 23, 2012 and an invitation to the post-performance party; two (2) tickets to Chicago Shakespeare Theatre’s 1:00pm matinee of Sunday in the Park, dinner at the Riva, and 7:30pm evening performance of Prudencia Hart on Sunday, October 3, 2012; and two (2) tickets to the Silk Road Rising and a $100 Catch 35 gift certificate. Guest must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 7 Prize is $1,020.
Week 8 Prize: One (1) “Your Good Deed” prize package is available to be won. Week 8 Prize package includes: $5,000 to be awarded to your favorite Internal Revenue Service qualified charitable organization; and $1,500 awarded to the winner in the form of a check. The charity donation will be made in the name of the winner made directly by ComEd to the charity. Please note that pursuant to the Official Rules, tax implications of any prize are the responsibility of the winner. ComEd will issue an IRS form 1099 to the winner of this prize reporting its entire approximate retail value of $6,150 to the winner. Although the winner may use the check portion of the prize for any purpose he/she desires, one purpose could be to offset any taxes the winner may be obligated to pay by virtue of winning this prize. The approximate retail value of the Week 8 Prize is $6,150.
Week 9 Prize: One (1) “Tour the Galaxy” prize package is available to be won. Week 9 Prize package includes a private tour for the winner and nine (9) guests of the Adler’s famous Doane Observatory given by one of the Adler’s astronomers. Visit is subject to availability and Sponsor approval. Guests must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 9 Prize is $300.
Week 10 Prize: One (1) “Your Run of the Field” prize package is available to be won. Week 10 Prize package includes four (4) tickets to the Chicago White Sox game on September 27, 2012 and an on the field experience for the winner. Guests must be at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or, if any guest is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, the winner or another guest must be his/her parent/legal guardian. The approximate retail value of the Week 10 Prize is $840.
Odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received during each weekly entry period for the corresponding week’s prize.
The total approximate retail value of all prizes available to be won is $14,333.90.
