Just BARE Chicken +5 Ingredient Challenge Contest and Sweepstakes
http://www.justbarechicken.com/plus-5.cfm
To enter the Contest, along with your entry information, you will be required to submit a list of five ingredients to be paired with a chicken type of your choosing (such as, but not required to be, Just BARE® Chicken) (“Ingredient List”), and to select a type of recipe to be made. Salt, pepper, and water used in the recipe are “free” and will not be counted against the list of five submitted ingredients.
Initial Judging Process: Ingredient Lists will be judged anonymously by culinary expert Lisa Golden Schroeder (“Judge”). Ingredient Lists will first be screened based on the viability of the list to be made into the type of recipe designated by the submitter. Remaining Ingredient Lists will be judged based on the following criteria: uniqueness of ingredients, wholesomeness of ingredients, and availability of ingredients; with a 1 to 10 point score awarded for each criterion. The top-scoring 25 finalist Ingredient Lists will then each be randomly-assigned to a member of a Recipe Development Panel of leading national food bloggers (five Ingredient Lists per panel member). Each Recipe Development Panel member will select three of the five Ingredient Lists to develop into Recipes each believes he/she can transform into a winning Recipe. The resulting 15 Recipes will be rated by Judge based on Culinary Score (actual recipe taste, creativity, general appeal, and ease of preparation) with a 1 to 10 point score awarded for each criterion (total possible 40 points).
Online Voting: Entrants submitting Ingredient Lists whose recipes earn the top 10 highest Culinary Scores (“Finalists”) will advance to Online Voting. In the case of a tie for 10th place, the tied entry with the highest score in actual recipe taste will advance. If the tie continues, the tied entries will be re-judged by a new independent judge using the same criteria. In the event that more than one prepared Ingredient List/Recipe submitted by the same Entrant are in the top 10 Finalist Recipes, the highest-scoring prepared Ingredient List/Recipe from that Entrant will be used and any such subsequent prepared Ingredient Lists/Recipes will not be eligible. In that event, the Entrant submitting the prepared Ingredient List/Recipe receiving the next-highest Culinary Score will become a Finalist. All 10 Finalists’ prepared Ingredient Lists/Recipes will be featured online at www.facebook.co
