Winner Determination: After the conclusion of the Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the potential winners from among all eligible Submissions received, based on an application of the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):
  Essay Clarity (25%);
  Originality of Problem (25%);
  Articulation, Confidence, Personality, Enthusiasm (25%); and
  Demonstration of Need for Makeover (25%)

 Prizes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A room makeover by Ace’s design experts, to be awarded as an in-home consultation and home improvements up to $10,000 from Ace Hardware. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $14,900.

 THREE (3) RUNNER UP PRIZES: An e-design from Ace’s design experts; and a $500 Ace gift card. The e-design includes a furniture plan, wall elevations, all furnishing selections and a shopping list. ARV: $1,750.
