To enter, follow the instructions to complete all required registration information and submit your makeover on one of the Mario Batali recipes showcased on the Site, including up to 3 different ingredients (at least one ingredient is required) that you would add to the recipe (the “Ingredient”), an original recipe Name (50 characters maximum) (the “Name”) and an optional essay (150 characters maximum) describing your inspiration for the makeover (the “Essay”). Ingredients, Name and optional Essay shall be referred to herein as the Entry or Entry Materials (the “Entry” or “Entry Materials”) and the person uploading the Contest Entry will be deemed the entrant (the “Entrant”). Please note, you may not mention any product names or slogans in your Entry other than Hellmann’s® or Best Foods®. The Entry will be posted in the Promotion gallery, known on the Site as “Mario’s Table” (the “Gallery”), for public viewing and “liking”.
Judging/Finalist Notification: All Entries will be judged on or about July 8, 2013, by Sponsor-select judges (including Mario Batali, based on availability) based on the following criteria: (1) 30% for creativity of dish Name, (2) 30% for originality of Ingredients, (3) 30% for perceived taste of recipe makeover and (4) 10% based on number of likes received to determine the three (3) Finalists (the “Finalist”). Prizes and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): : Grand Prize (2 total, 1 for the Sweepstakes and 1 for the Contest, as described above): A 4 day/3 night trip for three (3) to New York, NY to attend the Hellmann’s® 100th Birthday Event in September 2013. Grand Prize trip includes round-trip coach-class air transportation from the major airport nearest the winner’s home city to New York, NY, round-trip ground transportation between airport and hotel, three (3) nights hotel accommodations (based on quad occupancy and availability), $750 gift certificate to Del Posto Ristorante in New York, NY, and $750 spending money awarded in the form of a check made payable to the winner (ARV: $6,150 each).
Weekly Sweepstakes Prize (5 total, 1 per week): A $1,000 Sponsor selected airfare gift certificate, a $500 Sponsor selected grocery gift card and an autographed Mario Batali cookbook (ARV: $1,529.99 each).
