Grand Prize: (1 winner) 4-day/3-night trip for four to winner’s choice of one of the following National Parks: Acadia National Park (ME), Arches National Park (UT), Carlsbad Caverns (NM), Everglades National Park (FL), Glacier National Park (MO), Grand Canyon National Park (AZ), Grand Teton National Park (WY), National Mall (DC), Redwood National Park (CA), Rocky Mountain National Park (CO), Smoky Mountain National Park (TN), Yellowstone National Park (WY) or Yosemite National Park (CA). Trip includes: round-trip coach airfare for up to four people from the major airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s residence; (ii) three-night hotel accommodations in the form of two standard rooms, double-occupancy (hotel to be selected by Sponsor); $500 spending money awarded in the form of a check payable to Grand Prize winner; admission for up to four to the National Park selected by the Grand Prize winner; and one rental car. To receive the rental car benefit, Grand Prize winner will be required to meet the age requirements of the rental car company, have a valid driver’s license and a major credit card (subject to terms and conditions of the rental car company) and will be responsible for any associated additional costs (including insurance, gas, additional taxes, etc.). In the event that Grand Prize winner does not meet these and the other requirements as specified by the rental car company, this portion of the prize will be forfeited and Grand Prize winner will receive ground transportation to/from airport and National Park destination. No cash difference will be awarded except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. (Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize: $5,000). ARV may vary based on city of departure and Grand Prize winner’s choice of National Park. If, in the judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to Grand Prize winner’s proximity to the National Park location selected by Grand Prize winner, ground transportation will be substituted for round-trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion and no cash difference will be awarded. The Grand Prize winner must allow 45 days for arrangement and coordination of travel. No changes will be made to travel details or itinerary once any portion of the travel arrangement has been made. Grand Prize winner and guests must be able to travel on the same itinerary and must be able to travel within one year of acceptance of the prize. If Grand Prize winner and his/her guests cannot travel within specified timeline, prize will be forfeited and Grand Prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner, if feasible. In the event the Grand Prize winner or any guest is a minor, such winner or guest(s) must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian. A minor will not be permitted to participate in any portion of the Grand Prize without being accompanied by his or her parent or legal guardian. All travel is subject to airline and hotel availability and blackout dates. Other restrictions may apply. Sponsor is not responsible for weather conditions, travel cancellations, delays or postponements. Any costs/expenses, including but not limited to, meals, gratuities and transportation not expressly stated herein, are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner and guests.
First Prize: (10 winners) “America the Beautiful Pass,” which will give the holder free access to and use of Federal recreation sites that charge an entrance or standard amenity fee for one (1) year, beginning from the date of issuance. The pass admits the pass holders and passengers in a noncommercial vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas, and pass holder plus 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per-person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free).
