Weather Channel Magical Memories Sweepstakes
DAILY PRIZE DRAWINGS: On each day following each of the thirty-one (31) days of the Sweepstakes Period, all eligible Online and Mailed Entries received on the previous day will be combined to create one (1) pool for each of the thirty-one (31) Daily Prize drawings. Administrator will randomly select one (1) potential Daily Prize Winner (“Daily Winner”) on or around each day from March 30-April 29, 2013.
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: All eligible Online and Mailed Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period will be combined to create one (1) pool for the Grand Prize drawing. Administrator will randomly select one (1) potential Grand Prize Winner (“Vacation Winner”), from all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period, on or around May 6, 2013.
Potential Daily Winners will be notified by mail within four (4) weeks of Daily Prize drawing. Potential Vacation Winner will be notified by email, mail or phone on or about May 7, 2013.
Except where prohibited, potential Vacation Winner will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”), which must be received by Administrator or its agency within ten (10) days of the date the notice, or attempted notice, is sent. If potential Vacation Winner cannot be contacted or fails to complete, sign and return the Affidavit within the required time period, potential Vacation Winner forfeits the prize.
Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. In the event that a potential Daily or Vacation Winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate Daily or Vacation Winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries.
6. Prizes: There will be thirty-one (31) Daily Prizes and one (1) Grand Prize (collectively, “Prizes”) awarded.
Daily Prizes (31): Each Daily Prize will consist of one (1) The Weather Channel hat (approximate retail value (“ARV”): $9) and one (1) Disney Parks merchandise pin (ARV: $12). Total ARV of each Daily Prize is $21.
Grand Prize (1): Four (4) night and five (5) day vacation package for four (4) persons to Vacation Winner’s choice of either the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida or Disneyland® Resort in California (the “Vacation”).
The Walt Disney World® Vacation shall consist of the following: four (4) round trip coach airfares between the major United States gateway airport closest to Vacation Winner’s residence and Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida; provided, however, if Vacation Winner resides within 250 miles of the Walt Disney World® Resort, air transportation will not be provided; four (4) round trip ground transfers between Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World® Resort (provided, however, if Vacation Winner resides within 250 miles of the Walt Disney World® Resort, ground transfers will not be provided); room accommodations consisting of one (1) standard room (maximum occupancy, four (4) persons) for four (4) nights at a hotel at the Walt Disney World® Resort selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion; four (4) 5-Day Magic Your Way Tickets with Park Hopper® Option; one (1) Disney Gift Card with a value of five hundred dollars ($500); one (1) Welcome Basket in Walt Disney World® Resort hotel room for the Vacation Winner; VIP Viewing for four (4) people for one (1) Disney parade or show (parade or show selection and date of experience at the discretion of Sponsor); and Disney’s PhotoPass® product with a value of three hundred dollars ($300).
The approximate retail value (ARV) of the Walt Disney World® Vacation is $6,309.52.
