Nominee must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) USA, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands; age eighteen (18) or older; who has a valid social security number and is a current or retired union member in good standing with a union nationally affiliated with the AFL-CIO (see eligible unions in Appendix A of the Official Rules)
