iVillage’s BlackBerry Pink Curve Contest

Submit an essay of 250 words or less entitled “How do you Pink outside the box?” Essay must be on the topic of how entrant expresses her/his own powerful personal style as inspired by the new pink BlackBerry Curve smartphone.
Prize: (1 winner) 3-day/2-night trip for two to New York City to have lunch with iVillage parenting and style expert, Laura Bennett. Trip includes: Round trip coach class air transportation for winner and one guest from the airport nearest the winner’s residence; two (2) nights hotel accommodations (standard room, double occupancy) as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion; lunch at a restaurant in New York City for winner, Guest and Laura Bennett (restaurant to be determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); shopping expedition for winner and Guest with Laura Bennett (subject to restrictions as described below); $2,500 gift card for winner only; and two BlackBerry Pink Curve smartphones, one each, for winner and Guest). Total ARV of Grand Prize: ten thousand dollars (US $10,250). Trip must be taken and all travel must be completed in January or February of 2009 on a weekday (Monday through Friday). Winner may choose up to three stores within walking distance of restaurant for Shopping Expedition portion of prize. Lunch and Shopping Expedition with Laura Bennett will not exceed five hours total. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsors’ agent, on a carrier of Sponsors’ choice.

Certain travel restrictions and black out dates may apply. Winner and Guest must travel together on the same itinerary, including the same departure date, destination and return date, and must have valid travel documents (e.g., valid government issued photo I.D. and/or passport) prior to departure, and failure to do so will result in forfeiture of prize. If winner resides within a 100 mile radius of Manhattan, ground transportation may be provided in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in Grand Prize value. If Guest is a minor, the winner must be such Guest’s parent or legal guardian and must complete and return all releases on behalf of minor. Once travel commences, no unscheduled stopovers are permitted; if an unscheduled stopover occurs, full fare will be charged from stopover point for the remaining segments, including return, of the trip. Sponsors are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. All travel and lodging will be at the risk of winner and Guest. Guest (or such Guest’s parent or legal guardian if Guest is a minor) may be required to complete a guest liability/publicity release prior to the Trip, or this portion of the prize may be forfeited.
