Prize Details: The Winner will be able to choose one the following three destination holidays:
Arizona, Tucson Ranch – The White Stallion is a family-run ranch set in 5 square miles of desert adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. The personal touch and hospitality of a traditional dude ranch is carefully blended with the service and amenities of a fine resort. Ride through the unspoiled desert, rugged mountains and cactus that have brought Hollywood filmmakers to the ranch for over 70 years. The riding programme has slow rides both on the flat and up into the heights of the Saguaro National Park. Brisk lope rides provide a diversion for more experienced riders and the weekly team penning event is fun for all. Short Break 4d/3n/2d riding. Included: Accommodation, all horse riding except lessons, all meals and drinks excluding alcohol and canned drinks. A 15% service charge and 9.31% local tax is included. Vermont Inn – A historic Inn set in forests with beautiful views over the lake, a good riding programme out in forests for beginners and experienced riders separately or tuition for beginners. There is a choice of Western or English tack, many other activities, ideal for families in holiday times, spectacular fall foliage Sept/Oct, great combination with New York or Boston city visit. 4d/3n/2d riding. Included: Accommodation in twin or double rooms, riding as described in the programme (3 riding units), western or English tack, English speaking guide, breakfast, lunch and dinner from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day, onsite activities: lakeside beach access, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding; hiking trails, use of fitness centre, swimming pool and hot tub use, lawn games, tennis/volleyball court use, resort fees, service charges, restaurant gratuities and local taxes, parking or transfers from Rutland, VT regional airport or train station. Texas Horsemanship – Small, family-run ranch with a welcoming Texan cowboy experience. Learn natural horsemanship techniques: there are programmes for starting colts, confidence-building and children. Work with colts and difficult horses or build your confidence riding in small groups. This destination offers an all-inclusive ranch holiday for riders of all abilities. 4d/3n/2d riding. Included: Full board accommodation in single, twin or double rooms with shared bathroom, all meals from dinner on day 1 to breakfast on day 4, tea, coffee and water, 4-6 hours riding on 2 days, return transfers to Houston Airport.
