Driven By Contest by AARP Driver Safety

www.aarp.org/drivenbycontest and write an essay of a hundred (100) words or less about what drives you and how safety and mobility are essential elements… winners based on the following criteria (“Criteria”): Originality (35%); Creativity (35%); and Alignment with AARP Driver Safety mission and values, and ability to communicate a clear and positive message about driver safety for all ages (30%).

Prizes:
 Grand Prize: The grand prize winner of the Contest will receive $2,500 (in the form of an American Express Gift Card). He or she will receive credit when his or her idea is featured in an AARP Driver Safety ad, to run in either AARP The Magazine or AARP Bulletin in 2012. He or she will also be mailed a framed poster of the ad that was created based off of his or her Essay. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize is $2,600.

 1st Runner up Prize: The first runner up, with the second highest overall score, will receive $1,000 (in the form of an American Express Gift Card) and will be asked to acknowledge that his or her idea may be used in a future AARP Driver Safety advertisement. ARV of 1st Runner Up prize is $1,000.

 2nd Runner Up Prize: The second runner-up, the third highest overall score, will receive $500 (in the form of an American Express Gift Card) and will likewise be asked to acknowledge that his or her idea may be used in a future AARP Driver Safety advertisement. ARV of 2nd Runner Up prize is $500.
