Entry for each Monthly Contest will begin on the 16th day of each month during the Contest Period at 12:00 a.m. MT and end on the 15th day of the following month at 11:59 p.m. MT during the Contest Period (each, a “Monthly Entry Period”). 

Each Submission must meet the following “Submission Requirements”:

• (i) the Submission must be the submitting entrant’s original, previously unpublished work and not include any material owned or controlled by third parties (including without limitation, third party copyrighted material) and may not have been entered in any other contest or considered for any award;
• (ii) the minimum image size is 1600 by 1200 pixels at a dpi of 72. Images should be submitted in JPG or TIFF formats. File sizes can’t exceed 2MB;
• (iii) submissions must be free of watermarks, signatures, and copyright notices;
• (iv) the Submission may not contain any brands, logos or trademarks not permitted to be featured in STP promotions and advertising;
• (v) the entrant must provide upon request all appropriate clearances, permissions and releases for the Submission (in the event an entrant cannot provide all required releases, Sponsor reserves the right, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to disqualify the applicable Submission, or seek to secure the releases and clearances for Sponsor’s benefit, or allow the applicable Submission to remain in the Promotion); and
• (vi) the Submission must not include any content that is obscene, pornographic, libelous or otherwise objectionable. Any Submission that, in Sponsor’s good faith judgment, violates the Submission Requirements may be disqualified.

Submissions during one Monthly Entry Period do not roll-over into subsequent Monthly Entry Periods.

Any entrant who incorporates any intellectual property owned by a third party into his or her Submission does so at his or her own risk.

Limit one (1) entry per person total per Monthly Contest.

Each entry submission must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual entrant; automated and/or repetitive electronic submission of entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot, or contest service) will be disqualified and transmissions from these or related email or IP addresses may be blocked.

JUDGING AND VOTING: Sponsor or its designee will select twelve (12) Monthly Finalists from among the eligible Monthly Entrants in each Monthly Contest based on the following “Judging Criteria”: artistic composition (35%), creativity (35%), and quality of the image (30%). The Judging Criteria are to be applied in the sole discretion of Sponsor; each entrant agrees to be bound by and not challenge the final decisions of Sponsor.

Voters may vote on the Contest Site (limit three (3) votes per person on the Contest Site per day, voters may not vote for a single Submission multiple times within 24 hours).

Sponsor will attempt to notify each potential Prize Winner using the email address provided at time of entry if entry was submitted on the Contest Site.

PRIZES: Three (3) Prizes are available in each Monthly Contest.

• The Grand Prize for each Monthly Contest winner with the highest number of votes shall be a Sierra Trading Post eGift Card in the amount of $200 (ARV: $200).
• The Prize for the winner with the second highest number of votes shall be a Sierra Trading Post eGift Card in the amount of $150 (ARV: $150).
• The Prize for the winner with the third highest number of votes shall be a Sierra Trading Post eGift Card in the amount of $100 (ARV: $100).
