Note: Entrants must have their Twitter, Instagram or Facebook accounts linked with settings set to “unprotected” or “public” and (if using Twitter or Instagram) must add #20thBates to the Entry (as defined below) AND follow UPtv on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook and post their Entries on an “unprotected” or “public” basis in order for the Sponsor to be able to view the Entry and contact the potential winners. Facebook Entries must be accompanied by a photo to be eligible.
A panel of judges as determined by Sponsor will select one (1) potential Grand Prize Winner (“Potential Grand Prize Winner”) from among all eligible Finalists, based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):
• Passion for the subject matter (34%);
• Creativity in dealing with the subject matter (33%); and
• Sincerity (33%).
PRIZE/ODDS:
Grand Prize (one [1] winner): One (1) winner shall receive up to a two (2) night trip for the Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest (“Guest”) to attend the set of “Bringing Up Bates” (the “Set Visit”) and appear in video productions with the Bates family, which are intended for initial broadcast on UPtv and uptv.com (the “Broadcast”). Guest may accompany the Grand Prize Winner to the Set Visit but may not appear in the Broadcast. The Set Visit is currently anticipated to be held in Rocky Top, Tennessee, however, the specific location, along with the date, have yet to be determined. Such determination shall ultimately be made in Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Set Visit includes: a three (3) day, two (2) night trip to Knoxville, Tennessee including roundtrip economy class air transportation for the Grand Prize Winner and Guest from an airport near winner’s residence (airport to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to a Knoxville, Tennessee area airport (airport to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) (unless the Grand Prize Winner lives within a 50 mile radius of the Set Visit, in which case neither transportation nor accommodations will be provided and difference in ARV [defined below] not awarded); up to two (2) consecutive nights’ hotel accommodations for the Grand Prize Winner and Guest in one (1) standard, double occupancy room (room and tax only) at a hotel selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion); $450 for meals and expenses and round-trip ground transportation for the Grand Prize Winner and Guest between a Knoxville, Tennessee area airport and the hotel and between the hotel and Set Visit location. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($2,750.00).
