Canvas Lands’ End 72 Hours in Nashville Contest
Judging. All entries must be written in English. Approximately eighty (80%) percent of the essay will be judged on how unique, compelling and creative your essay is and twenty (20%) percent of the essay will be judged on composition. The winner selection process will be conducted as follows: Step 1) An initial screening of all essays will be conducted by the Lands’ End Marketing team to determine the top one hundred (100) essays received; Step 2) A team consisting of three Lands’ End creative and editorial team members will review the one hundred (100) essays recommended by the Marketing team and select the top seventy three (73) essays; and Step 3) A select committee of Lands’ End management will choose the one Grand Prize Winner from the group of entries recommended by the creative and editorial team.
Prizes and Odds. GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE – One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected from all eligible entries on or about March 4, 2013, for a trip for two (2) to Nashville, TN. Winner and one (1) guest shall receive two nights/three days, hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown (approx. $500), one (1) One Thousand Dollar ($1000) gift card for Canvas Lands’ End; two (2) Music City Backstage Attraction Passes (approx. $1,000); one (1) Music City gift bag ($50.00) and round trip coach air fare for two people from the major international airport nearest to winner’s home (approx. $1,000), plus round trip ground transportation from airport to the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown (approximate retail value $3,350 – actual value may vary depending on location of major airport nearest to winner’s home) and a cash award of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000).
Seventy-two (72) Runner-Up Winners will be selected from all eligible entries to be held on or about March 4, 2013. Each Runner-Up shall receive a Seventy Two Dollars ($72) Canvas Lands’ End gift card.
