DOLE® California Cook-Off Recipe Contest and Fan Sweepstakes
Submit an original small plate recipe that can be prepared in 60 minutes or less on a gas grill (with a burner), uses at least one DOLE Product and up to ten additional ingredients (salt, pepper, water and oil or butter used for cooking, and cooking spray do not count as an ingredient).
The Round One Judges will judge and rate each Recipe according to the following Criteria:
(1) Best Use of DOLE® Product(s) – 30%, (2) Flavor and Taste – 25%, and (3) Creativity – 15%, (4) Presentation – 15%, (5) Ease of Preparation – 15%
The 2014 DOLE California Cook-Off winner receives a $25,000 cash prize in addition to 4 days & 3 nights in Santa Monica.CA
SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: The Sweepstakes Winner will win a Trip to attend and judge the
“California Cook-Off” in Los Angeles, California on the designated California Cook-off Date. The
Trip shall consist of a four (4) day/three (3) night trip coach-class air transportation from the
gateway airport closest to Sweepstakes Winner’s home to Los Angeles, California on the dates
designated by Sponsor; four (4) days/three (3) nights four star hotel accommodations (standard
room/single occupancy); a mid-size rental car; and One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) spending
money. In order to be eligible for the rental car, the Sweepstakes Winner must meet all of the
rental car company’s requirements. If s/he does not so qualify for the rental car, Sponsor may
elect, in its sole discretion, to arrange other means of ground transportation. If the Sweepstakes
Winner lives within two hundred fifty (250) miles from the metropolitan Los Angeles, California
area, Sponsor may elect to provide the Sweepstakes Winner with ground transportation to the
hotel. ARV of the Trip is $4,000.00
