Bracket: Once the Designated Tournament team selections have been announced on 3/16/2014 – all registered or newly registering contestants must fully complete the provided Bracket form on the Edit/Update Picks page of the Contest website.
Tie-Breaker: Each contestant will also be required to submit their entry of the Total Cumulative Points to be scored in the Championship Game on 4/7/2014. Any contestant who failed to complete the Total Cumulative Points ‘tie-break’ will be assigned a point total of 0 cumulative points for the Championship Game.
Save Picks: Contestants are required to click the ‘Save Picks’ button on the contest website to save their bracket selections, cumulative score or updates.
Scoring – Bracket Points: Each eligible contestant who has successfully completed the on-line registration and bracket as required by these Official Rules will receive the following points for each of the (63) games for which they have correctly determined the winning team:
1 point for each correct pick in Round 1
2 points for each correct pick in Round 2
4 points for each correct pick in Round 3
8 points for each correct pick in Round 4
16 points for each correct pick in Round 5
32 points for the correct Champion
Any incorrect entries will receive 0 points. The maximum point total for correctly determining the winning team in every game played during the Designated Tournament is 192 points. At the completion of the designated tournament, each eligible contestant bracket entry received will be compared to the actual bracket outcome.
Prize Awards: The following prize awards will be available to eligible contestants participating in the Contest:
Grand Prize – Determine all (63) Games Correctly (“Perfect Bracket”): If any eligible contestant correctly determines the winners of all sixty-three (63) games in the Designated Tournament, they will win the Grand Prize subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Grand Prize is: $1,000,000 paid out as a 20 year annuity with equal payments of $50,000. The first $50,000 will be paid within fourteen (14) days to the verified winner, with each subsequent payment paid on the yearly anniversary of the first payment date.
A maximum of one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. In order for the Grand Prize to be awarded, an eligible contestant must correctly determine the winners of all sixty-three (63) games in the Designated Tournament. If no eligible contestant correctly determines all 63 games, then the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
Bonus Prize – Determine (60) or more Games Correctly: If any eligible contestant (other than the Grand Prize winner) correctly determines the winners of sixty (60) or more games in the Designated Tournament, the contestant who correctly determines the most winners will win the Bonus Prize subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Bonus Prize is: $25,000 Cash, payable in lump sum to the winner. The Grand Prize winner, if any, is not eligible to receive the Bonus Prize.
A maximum of one (1) Bonus Prize will be awarded. In order for the Bonus Prize to be awarded, an eligible contestant must correctly determine the winners of sixty (60) or more games in the Designated Tournament. If no eligible contestant correctly determines 60 or more games, then the Bonus Prize will not be awarded.
Runner-Up Prizes – Most Points (“Bracket Winner & 9 Runner Ups”): The (10) eligible contestants (other than the Grand Prize winner or Bonus Prize winner, if any) who score the most points in the bracket challenge will win the Runner-Up Prizes subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Runner-Up Prizes are:
· First Place: $5,000 Cash
· Second Place: $2,500 Cash
· Third Place: $1,500 Cash
· Fourth Place: an iMac 21.5in with a maximum retail value of $1,299.00
· Fifth Place: 60” TV with a maximum retail value of $950.00
· Sixth Place: Surface Pro 2 with a maximum retail value of $899.99
· Seventh Place: xBox One with a maximum retail value of $499.99
· Eighth Place: Rebel Camera with a maximum retail value of $449.99
· Ninth Place: PlayStation 4 with a maximum retail value of $399.99
· Tenth Place: WiiU with a maximum retail value of $299.99
A maximum of ten (10) Runner-Up Prizes will be awarded.
he Registration Bonus Prize is: a trip for (2) to Dallas, TX for the Final Men’s College Championship Basketball Game. The Registration Bonus Prize has a maximum value of $4,200.00 and includes:
Round trip coach class airfare for (2) to Dallas, TX, with travel dates 4/5/14 – 4/8/14. Actual departure times, departure airport, and airline based upon availability and will be solely determined by sponsor;
· Three (3)-nights standard hotel accommodations, double occupancy at Sponsor designated hotel in Dallas, TX Metro area.
· (2) Tickets to the Men’s College Basketball Championship Game on 4/7/2014
Sponsor reserves the option, in its sole discretion, to award the registration prize winner, if any, a $4,200.00 cash prize award in lieu of entire prize award outlined above.
