Goodyear “Name the Blimp” Contest

Selection of Winners: One (1) Grand Prize Winner and nine (9) First Prize Winners will be selected during a two (2)-round-winner-selection process, which consists of the following:
(1) Round One – Judging by Panel: During the first round of the winner-selection process (“Round One”), all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period will be judged by a panel of Goodyear associates, based on the following criteria to determine the top ten (10) Entries (“Semifinalist Entries”), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules:
Suggested blimp name reflects:
1) Goodyear’s ongoing track record of delivering superior performance and innovation (40%);
2) the storied history and tradition of the Goodyear Airship (20%);
3) with the Goodyear airships’ long history of public service and community engagement (20%);
4) the grace and majesty of lighter-than-air flight (20%).
In the event of a tie, an additional Goodyear associate will serve as the “tie-breaking” judge to determine which Entry/Entries will proceed to Round Two on the above stated criteria. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than ten (10) Entries to advance to Round Two, if, in its sole discretion, Sponsor does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries.
(2) Round Two – Public Voting: During the second round of the winner-selection process (“Round Two”), the ten (10) Semi-finalist Entries will be displayed for voting athttp://www.goodyear.com between 12:00 PM ET April 18, 2014 and 08:59 AM ET May 9, 2014 (the “Voting Period”), and the votes for most popular Entry will be tallied. Voting is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older and who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. A calculation of the total number of votes received for all Semi-finalist Entries throughout the Voting Period (as determined by Sponsor) will account for twenty-percent (20%) of Entrant’s final score as described below. Limit one (1) vote per person and per e-mail address per day for the duration of the Voting Period. Any votes received in excess of this maximum of one (1) vote will be disqualified. Votes received from any email or IP address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. You must provide a valid email address to vote. Votes from invalid, non-working, or inactive email addresses will be disqualified. Voting will be subject to the terms of use of the Contest Website and any additional voting instructions that may be posted on the Contest Website.

Winner Selection: At the conclusion of the Voting Period, the Entrants’ scores from both Round One and Round Two will be tallied and weighed according to the following criteria:
Round One Score: 80%
Round Two Score: 20%

Grand Prize Blimp Vacation: If there is not an accessible blimp-operating location within a reasonable distance of Grand Prize winner’s residence, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, then the Grand Prize winner will be awarded the Grand Prize Blimp Vacation, subject to the Sponsor’s discretion, which consists of the following:
The new Goodyear Blimp will be named with the Grand Prize winner’s suggested name, subject to any modifications that the Sponsor may make, in its sole discretion;
Two (2) tickets to an event selected by Sponsor at which a Goodyear Blimp will be operating (the “Event”); the opportunity for Grand Prize winner and guest to ride the blimp at the Event; round trip coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest Grand Prize winner’s residence, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to the airport closest to the Event; and three (3) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (one room; double occupancy) near the Event, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

General Grand Prize Restrictions (applicable to both the Grand Prize Blimp Ride and the Grand Prize Blimp Vacation): Total maximum Estimated Retail Value (“ERV”) of each Grand Prize package is $10,000.00.

First Prizes (9): Each First Prize winner will receive a Certificate for their choice of any set of four (4) Goodyear passenger or light truck tires, available at participating Goodyear Tire retailers. Tire models range in value from $240.00 – $2,000.00 (per set). Maximum ERV of each First Prize is $2,000.00.

Total maximum ERV of all prizes combined is $28,000.00
