Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be awarded a trip to the ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans, LA. The trip to the ESSENCE Festival includes the following:
Round trip coach airfare for winner and one (1) guest to New Orleans, LA from major airport nearest the winner’s home in the Continental US. Trip must be taken from Friday, July 4, 2014 through Monday, July, 7, 2014.
Round trip airport transfers in New Orleans, LA.
Three (3) nights, Four (4) days hotel accommodations in New Orleans, LA (based on double occupancy). Winner and guest to arrive Friday, July 4, 2014 and depart Monday, July 7, 2014.
Two (2) tickets per night to the ESSENCE Festival concerts in New Orleans, LA. Tickets are valid for concerts playing July 4 through July 6, 2014.
Two (2) VIP Experience tickets (tickets to various VIP events at the ESSENCE Festival)
Items that are not included as part of the Grand Prize Vacation Package are:
(i) Meals (unless otherwise described above)
(ii) Hotel room service
(iii) Laundry service
(iv) Alcoholic beverages
(v) Merchandise, souvenirs, etc.
(vi) Local and long distance telephone calls
(vii) Tips, gratuities, service charges or taxes
(viii) Ground transportation between the winner’s residence and the departure airport
(ix) All other charges not otherwise described above
Grand Prize Vacation Package conditions of use include, but are not limited to:
(i) Vacation must be taken between Friday, July 4, 2014 through Monday, July 7, 2014.
(ii) Vacation is for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest of the winner’s choosing.
(iv) Vacation and its components may not be sold, traded, transferred, rescheduled to dates not within the fulfillment period set forth above, or refunded. Vacation is not redeemable for cash in whole or in part.
(v) ESSENCE Festival concert & VIP Experience tickets are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
(vi) Airline regulations apply.
(vii) If applicable, the Grand Prize winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check-in to cover any incidental expenses incurred during the Grand Prize winner’s stay.
(viii) If a prize-related event or travel is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, including for weather, or for any reason beyond the control of the Promotion entities, their sole responsibility to the Grand Prize winner will be to award the remaining available elements of the Grand Prize and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded elements of the Grand Prize. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight.
(ix) The Sponsor and/or venue, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to deny entry to or to remove the Grand Prize winner and/or guest if either engages in disruptive behavior or in a manner with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any of the prize-related events.
The ARV of the Grand Prize Travel Package: $2,548.
First Prizes:Three (3) First Prize winners will each receive a Monster N-Tunes headphone. The ARV of each First Prize: $99.00. Total ARV of all First Prizes being offered: $297.00.
Second Prizes: Seven (7) Second Prize winners will each receive an iPod Shuffle. The ARV of each Second Prize: $46.00. Total ARV of all Second Prizes being offered: $322.00.
Third Prizes: Two (2) Third Prize winners will each receive an Essence Festival concerts in New Orleans, LA, Terrace Level Weekend Ticket Package consisting of two tickets for concerts playing July 4 through July 6, 2014. The ARV of each Third Prize: $798. Total ARV of all Third Prizes being offered: $1,596
Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded: $4,763.
Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received, but is estimated at 1:10,000.
