O, The Oprah Magazine 100 Women, 100 Shoes Challenge
enter an approximately 500 word proposal on your idea to work with a local non-profit 501(c)(3) or similar charitable/philanthropic not-for-profit organization to make a change in your community with 100 pairs of Crocs. Your submission should also include the name of the charity you are nominating, your full name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, daytime phone number, résumé or job description, and a photograph of yourself. Alternatively, you may send a typed proposal to “100 Women, 100 Shoes”, O, The Oprah Magazine, 300 West 57th Street, 18th Floor, New York, NY 10017. Contest ends July 2, 2012. All entries must be postmarked by July 2, 2012, and received by July 10, 2012
Up to one hundred winning proposals will be chosen; the charities nominated by the winners will each receive 100 pairs of Crocs to implement their “100 Women, 100 Shoes” plan. Each winning proposal will be required to report on the implementation of their submission on omagonline.com/crocs with photo(s) and/or short testimonials. Total Approximate Retail Value (100 prizes): $4000. The award of the prize is contingent upon the agreement by the charitable organization named on the winner’s entry form to implement the plan outlined in the entry form.
Judging: First Round: All eligible entries will be judged by staff members of O, The Oprah Magazine to select 100 finalists on or around July 15, 2012, based equally on the originality, expression, and viability of the proposed “100 Women, 100 Shoes” idea.
