One (1) grand prize will be awarded. Grand prize winner will receive a seven (7) day/ six (6) night Outdoor Ontario Adventure Prize Package for the winner and three (3) travel companions that will include the following:
Round trip coach air transportation for four (4) persons from the major city airport closest to the winner’s residence serviced by Porter Airlines to Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. If Porter Airlines does not fly out of the closest major city airport to the winner’s residence, the winner and his/her guests/travel companions will be provided with economy class travel on another airline that will connect to a city serviced by Porter Airlines. The selected entrant and his/her travel companions must have the same origin and destination and must travel together at all times. Prize must be redeemed in its entirety August 10, 2014 through August 16, 2014. If the selected entrant is not able to travel during the specified time, he/she will forfeit the prize and the Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries, subject to the skill-testing requirement for Canadian residents. Travel restrictions and blackout travel dates apply.
A seven (7) day car rental (full size vehicle) (“Courtesy Car Rental”). Courtesy Car Rental includes fuel, pick up and drop off services between car rental location and airport. Entrant or at least one of the entrant’s travel companions must be qualified to rent an automobile from a national car rental agency, have at least one major credit card in good standing (that is supported by a predetermined line of credit) and have a valid Canadian or US driver’s license. Courtesy Car Rental does NOT include Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance and Supplemental Liability Protection coverage. Winner will be required to obtain this coverage and will be solely responsible for the cost of this insurance coverage for the rented vehicle. Two (2) drivers are recommended, but not mandated.
Six (6) nights’ accommodations for four (4) persons as follows:
Four (4) night’s accommodation at the Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre, in Little Current, ON. Two standard guest rooms, double occupancy.
One (1) night camping excursion on the Benjamin Islands. All camping gear provided, including two two-person tents.
One (1) night 1 night teepee glamping on Manitoulin Island with Great Spirit Circle Trail Hosts. All glamping gear provided.
Guided Activities for four (4) persons including:
A heritage canoe tour of the North Channel of Lake Huron
Horse & Teepee Overnight Adventure including glamping and swimming with the horses
Guided hiking and ecology interpretation
Half-day sailing trip to the Benjamin Islands from Little Current
Sightseeing air tour over the North Channel of Lake Huron from Manitoulin Island.
The following meals for the winner and each of his/her three (3) travel companions: Six (6) breakfasts, seven (7) lunches and six (6) dinners (one dinner includes a traditional Aboriginal feast with private dance performance). Taxes and gratuities on the meals are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
The winner and each of his/her travel companions will each receive one (1) $1,000.00 CAD gift card, redeemable at any Mountain Equipment Co-Op Store in Canada or for purchases made online. Gift cards are redeemable for products or services at a Mountain Equipment Co-Op Store in Canada. They are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards will be given to the prize winner and his her travel companions prior to the trip and must be redeemed in advance of the trip.
