Grand Prize: (1 winner) A trip for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Los Angeles, CA to attend the American Idol Season 8 Finale on May 20, 2009, which prize consists only of the following elements: round-trip coach class air transportation for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest to Long Beach, CA on JetBlue Airways from the airport serviced by JetBlue Airways closest to the winner’s residence, two (2) nights accommodations (including hotel room tax) for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) Guest (standard single room/double occupancy) at a Sponsor-designated hotel, two (2) general admission tickets to the American Idol Season 8 Finale in Los Angeles, CA on May 20, 2009, and $250 spending money for Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize air transportation is valid only for use by Grand Prize Winner and Guest and they must travel on the same travel itinerary and on the following dates: departing on May 19, 2009 and return on May 21, 2009. Grand Prize air transportation is valid only for round-trip travel between the airport serviced by JetBlue Airways closest to the winner’s residence and Long Beach, CA; no substitutions or deviations with respect to origin or destination will be allowed. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that American Idol Season 8 Finale on May 20, 2009 is cancelled, delayed or moved to a different location, the Sponsor will only be responsible for the travel and spending money portion of the prize and Grand Prize Winner will not be entitled to any difference or cash equivalent. If Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest is deemed a minor under the jurisdiction of his/her state of residence, such minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. In that event, such parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) shall be solely responsible for all travel, lodging or other expenses of any kind associated with accompanying Grand Prize Winner or Guest. JetBlue reserves the right to deny boarding passengers without the proper documentation
First Prize: (1 winner) Two (2) round-trip coach class air transportation JetBlue Travel Authorization Letters valid for travel between any two destinations in the JetBlue Airways route network. (ARV: $598)
The JetBlue Airways Travel Authorization Letters (each a “Letter”) are valid only for use by First Prize Winner and will be issued in the name of the First Prize Winner. Letters expire one (1) year from the date of issue and travel must be booked and flown within the travel dates specified on Letters. In the event the First Prize Winner is a resident of Puerto Rico, Sponsor will pay for the international travel, government fees and taxes of up to $126.20 each way. In the event First Prize Winner is not a resident of Puerto Rico, First Prize winner will be solely responsible for any applicable fees, including surcharges, service charges, Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9 each way, September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 each way and a Federal Segment Tax of $3.50 per domestic segment (a segment is a takeoff and landing), and, in the case of international travel, government taxes and fees of up to $127.60. Loss of authorization numbers and PINs cannot be replaced. Use of Letters is subject to the following additional terms and conditions: Letters must be redeemed by calling 1(800) JETBLUE and following the phone prompts. Redemption at JetBlue airport ticket counter or online is not allowed. Letters may be redeemed only for travel on JetBlue-operated flights and are not available for use on any partner airlines or in connection with JetBlue Getaways Vacation Packages or Cruises. Redeemed travel is subject to availability and certain restrictions, and seats may not be available on all flights. Schedules subject to change without notice. Certain blackout dates may apply and travel may be capacity controlled. If traveling to an international destination, First Prize Winner must provide all necessary documents (e.g. valid United States Passport) at the time of departure. JetBlue reserves the right to deny boarding passengers without the proper documentation.
