HOW TO ENTER THE WEEKLY CONTEST: A registered Twitter account is required for entry. Login and enter Twitter, follow @JackHoney and/or @JackFire and confirm you are 21 years of age or older. Tweet your smack talk entry to #JDSmackTalkContest. The entry must meet all necessary requirements (see TWEET CRITERIA listed below). By submitting entry into the hashtag, you are also eligible to be selected as a finalist to participate in the Smack Talk Playoffs (see SMACK TALK PLAYOFFS CONTEST details below).

All entries must be tweeted by the below deadlines to be eligible for that week’s judging:

Week 1: Sunday, October 18th 11:59pm EDT
Week 2: Sunday, October 25th 11:59pm EDT
Week 3: Sunday, November 1st 11:59pm EDT
Week 4: Sunday, November 8th 11:59pm EDT

Criteria for Weekly Winners (evaluation of individual tweets):

Creativity and Humor – 50%
Representative of Smack Talk Theme – 25%
Public Engagement and Sentiment on Twitter (Retweet and Favorites) – 25%

The judges will score each participant’s collection of tweets based on the following criteria:

Criteria for Selection of Playoffs Finalists (evaluation of user’s collection of tweets):

Overall Creativity and Humor – 40%
Overall Representative of Smack Talk Theme – 25%
Public Engagement and Sentiment on Twitter (Retweet and Favorites) – 25%
Quantity of Eligible Tweets Entered Over Contest Period – 10%

Criteria for Playoff Period (evaluation of user’s collection of tweets):

PRIZE STRUCTURE: There will be a total of seventeen (17) prizes awarded. The prizes will be awarded as follows:

WEEKLY CHALLENGE CONTEST PRIZE:

There will be three (3) Weekly Contest prizes awarded each week

Weekly Challenge prize consists of the following:

One (1) Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey blanket with the winning tweet sewn/embroidered into the blanket (ARV $50.00)
The potential winner(s) of the Weekly Contest Prize will be judged and selected on each Tuesday following each week’s eligibility period.

PLAYOFFS CONTEST RUNNERS UP PRIZES:

(Runners Up Prizes) There will be three (3) Playoff Contest Runners Up prizes awarded. The Runner’s Up Prizes include:

One (1) $500.00 gift card
PLAYOFFS CONTEST GRAND PRIZE:

(Grand Prize) There will be one (1) Playoff Contest Grand Prize awarded. The Grand Prize includes:

One (1) $1,000.00 gift card
One (1) custom made resin fiberglass bust made in the image of the winning recipient with stand and custom plaque (ARV $8,000)
