For each correct prediction of a winning team, Participants will earn Points. Points will be awarded in one of two scoring methods, and the Participant who starts the Pool will be able to select the scoring method that will be applied to that pool. The First Scoring Method will award Points per correct prediction, increasing the number of Points awarded with each round (“Round”) of the Tournament (First Round: 5 points/correct prediction; Second Round: 10 points/correct prediction; Sweet 16 Round: 20 points/correct prediction; Elite 8 Round: 30 points/correct prediction; Final 4 Round: 40 points/correct prediction; Final Round: 50 points/correct prediction).
Beginning on March 11, 2012, you may enter the Contest online by going to MarchRadnessChallenge.com and/or by loading the “100k March Radness Challenge” Facebook application and completing a Tournament entry bracket by selecting the winners of all the games in the Tournament. Participants will be able to access, alter and submit their brackets until thirty (30) minutes before the tip-off of the first regional game on March 15, 2012.
There is a limit of five (5) entries per person and per email address.
“Perfect Bracket” Prize: If any Participant correctly selects the winning team of all 63 games in the Tournament on his/her completed bracket, he/she will be eligible to win the “Perfect Bracket” Prize of $100,000 cash* (the “Prize”). Only the first 500,000 completed brackets will be considered for the $100,000 “Perfect Bracket” prize.
If more than one Participant correctly selects all the winning teams, those Participants shall share the $100,000 cash prize with equal percentages of such prize
If no one achieves a perfect bracket as described herein or if the prize goes unclaimed by a notified winner, the “Perfect Bracket” Prize will not be awarded. Odds of winning the “Perfect Bracket” Prize depend on Participant’s knowledge of men’s collegiate basketball and is estimated to be between a 1 in 150 million and 1 in 9 quintillion chance.
The Perfect Bracket Prize, if awarded, will be paid out as follows: the winner will be paid $100,000. “Pool Winner” Prize: Fifty (50) prizes will be awarded to the Participants submitting the winning brackets for the fifty (50) largest pools. Each prize will be a gift card redeemable for $50.00 of valuable consideration at establishments with a retail presence in a majority of eligible states. Total Fair Market Value of the “Pool Winner” Prizes will be equal to $2,500.00. Pools will be created by Participants.
