Grand Prize: (1 winner) Trip for two to the 2014 Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships from March 20–23, 2014 in Squaw Valley, California; round trip coach class airfare for winner and guest from a major commercial airport nearest winner’s residence within the U.S. to Reno Tahoe International Airport; 4-days/3-nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy at hotel chosen by Sponsor); ground transportation in Squaw Valley, CA (to/from airport/hotel, hotel/race); two VIP passes that provide lift access for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of event weekend to the 2014 Nature Valley U.S. Alpine championships, and one certificate that is good for one set of four Goodyear tires. Actual travel dates will be specified by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. The dates specified by Sponsor are the dates that the trip must occur, and such dates are not flexible. If winner is unable to travel on designated dates, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Sponsor will determine seat location for all events in its sole discretion. The certificate is good for one set of four Goodyear tires, with a value of up to $1,800 and is subject to all terms and conditions listed thereon. Mounting, balancing, valve stems and incidental shop, disposal charges and taxes (where applicable) are not included and are the sole responsibility of winner. (ARV: $5,000). The ARV of the Grand Prize is based on estimated airfare as of October 2013. Actual retail value may vary based on point of departure and/or airfare fluctuations. Any difference between the stated approximate value and actual value of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified via phone or overnight mail and will be required to sign, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (the “Affidavit”) (where permitted) within five (5) days of date printed on prize notification or prize may be forfeited. Failure to provide all required information and signature(s) on the Affidavit, or return of prize notification as undeliverable, may result in forfeiture of rights to be declared a prize winner and/or receive prize. Prizes won by an eligible entrant who is a minor in his/her state of residence (under 19 in AL and NE) will be awarded to minor’s parent or legal guardian, who must sign and return all required documents. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. Upon receipt and verification of Grand Prize winner Affidavit, the Grand Prize winner will be notified via phone regarding the specific delivery details of the prize. Telephone calls, meals, gratuities, luggage fees, incidental hotel/personal expenses and all other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility solely of winner. Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel destinations, routes and hotel selection at its sole discretion. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. If winner lives within 250 miles of Squaw Valley, CA, winner will be provided $200 in spending money for driving expenses in lieu of air transportation. Sponsor is not responsible if any scheduled event is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason and winner will not be reimbursed for tickets. Tickets may be subject to issuer’s standard rain-check policies and procedures. Guest of winner must be 18 years of age or older. Guest must sign a Liability Release and a Publicity Release prior to ticketing of travel. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents required for travel. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize and all other costs not specifically outlined in these rules are the responsibility solely of the winner. Grand Prize winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the actual value of the prize. Grand Prize winner is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of accepting the prize. Prize cannot be transferred, assigned or redeemed for cash or substituted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes or is unavailable for any reason. Trip prize (or any portion thereof) may not be sold, traded, transferred, assigned, refunded or redeemed for cash and cannot be rescheduled to dates not within the trip period set forth above. Lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, vouchers or certificates will not be replaced. By accepting ticket prize, winner agrees to abide by any terms, conditions and restrictions provided by the ticket. Sponsor is not responsible if winner does not use ticket on day of event.
