Prize: Twelve (12) Grand Prizes – Each Grand Prize winner will be awarded the opportunity to appear as a contestant on the Channel One News program “Pop Quiz Challenge” (the “Program”) which will be recorded in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, May 22, 2010 or such other place as determined by Sponsor (“Program City”). Winners (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) will be required, as a condition of accepting the Grand Prize, to participate and agree to be filmed and recorded in connection with the Program. No compensation will be provided to winners for participation in the Program. Sponsor makes no guarantee that the Program will be produced or aired. Grand Prize winners may be required to sign additional documentation required by Sponsor. Participation in the Program will include competing in teams assigned by Sponsor to compete in a team game show format. There is no monetary value attached to the above opportunity. It is anticipated that winners will be required to arrive on the Friday before the recording and depart that immediate Sunday, however Sponsor reserves the right to change the date and times of the recording of the Program and the associated travel arrangements. The award of the Grand Prize is not an offer of employment. No guarantee, warranty or representation of any opportunity for employment is made nor should be inferred.
Sponsor will provide travel and accommodations (“Travel Expenses”) in it sole reasonable discretion and as it deems appropriate, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, at its own expense and not as part of the Grand Prize, to the Program City for each Grand Prize winner, only, including meals, air travel and hotel accommodations (including hotel taxes). At Sponsor’s discretion, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air travel in the event a winner’s principal place of residence is within one hundred (100) miles of the Program City. Sponsor will provide appropriate adult chaperones for Grand Prize winners while participating in Program and Sweepstakes related activities in the Program City. Gratuities and incidentals expenses are not included in Travel Expenses and are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner.
