Archadeck Dream Backyard Makeover Contest
Photo Entry: Submit a photo that best expresses why you should win a backyard makeover for the property depicted/discussed in your entry. Photos must be no more than 5MB and in PNG, JPEG, or TIFF format. Photo must be accompanied by a 200 word description (in English) of why a backyard makeover is needed for your property. Include who uses the outdoor space, how you would use the space, why it is important to you, etc.
Limit one entry (photo and essay) per person/household/property.
JUDGING:
a) Monthly Judging: Each Calendar Month (February, March, April) entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the sponsor. Entries (photos/essays) will be judged on the basis of the following criteria: Need (33.3%), Creativity (33.3%) and Vision (33.3%), and the two (2) top scoring photos/essays will be that Month’s Prize leaders and will
advance as a finalist to Online Voting.
Online Voting: Beginning at 12:00:01 AM ET on or about April 23, 2013 and ending on April 30, 2013 at 11:59:59 PM ET (“Voting Period”) the six (6) Monthly leader entries (photos/essays) selected in the Initial (Monthly) Judging round will be posted on the contest Facebook Page

Grand Prize: Backyard Makeover. Dream outdoor living project for your backyard designed and installed by Archadeck Outdoor Living. Project will feature quality materials from Belgard Hardscape Materials and TimberTech Decking. Prize package includes products and installation BY CONTRACTOR APPROVED/DESIGNATED BY SPONSOR. Project must include a hardscape (paver) component and a decking component. Archadeck Outdoor Living has final approval of plans before work is commenced. Approximate retail value of prize package is (up to) $70,000 USD.
Second Prize: Renovation of Existing Deck or Patio. Renovation of an existing deck and/or patio. Archadeck Design Consultant will work with you to determine the nature of the renovation work to be done on your existing deck and/or patio project which could include the cleaning and sealing or possible repair of existing materials on your outdoor living
project. Prize package includes products and service. Scope of work is solely at discretion of Archadeck. Approximate retail value of prize package is (up to) $7,000 USD.
Third Prize: Landscape Lighting for Your Outdoor Living Space. Outdoor lighting system provided by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives will consist of design and installation of 15 fixtures, 600 watt transformer, wire and timer. Approximate retail value of prize package is (up to) $3,000 USD.
